MEET PHIL
Hello, I'm Phil Shepherd, and PS Tax Consultancy is basically 'me'. I have been working in the field of personal tax since 2001, and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2007. After several years employed as a Tax Senior I set up PS Tax Consultancy in 2013.
Since then I have mainly been providing my clients with a Self Assessment Tax Return completion service that is competitively priced for the speed and quality of my work.
My specialism is Capital Gains Tax. This is an area in which I am uniquely positioned to help clients to save tax due to my wealth management background, particularly involving share schemes, and my knowledge about share matching rules and little-known reliefs.
I act for UK resident individuals, and my focus is to 'get it right' rather than pushing the boundaries of tax legislation. I strive to explain complicated tax rules in simple terms and try to avoid jargon.
